the awkward stage is the biggest problem with longer styles tho

another goatis incel yes
nah he is a braindead in general like saying "math is manmade numbers" and stuff like this but he also have good takes such as fades are military slaves typa things and raw meat ofc.

This very dude in my gym spends 50mins on the bench benching the same 50lbs. Fuck you.

Now coming to your question, no fades are not outdated. It’s just that you leave too much of hair in the middle. Cut that shit medium short so the contrast between 1mm sides and the main part isn’t too much.

exactly what i ask every time i want to get a fade, i hate the aggressive transitions between a fade and longer hair on top.

If you're <16 then yeah, go for it. I think skin fades are fine for pretty much any age but i'd suggest looking on Pinterest for different hair styles you like and replicating one. I think it's always good to try growing your hair out whilst you still have it but if you're unsure, just have a look around and see what catches your eye.

A good tip that I've learned in terms of presentation is having a haircut that contrasts your style, rather than having it blend in. Essentially, choose a type of style/fashion within a subculture you'd like to follow then deviate from the normal hairstyle that they'd typically have. For example, if you were to dress like a Goth, instead of having long black hair, opt for curtains, a slick back or a buzz. You would stand out more and it's something people would remember.

Skin fades are pretty common, although you can have an abundance of different hairstyles with a fade, they all look similar so I would just make sure you're elevating elsewhere. It's hard to say what the right hairstyle is because it's different for everyone. It's all about having something that works for you.

They are both skin fades, and the one on the right is a mid/high taper fade. The most prominent feature of those haircuts is the fringe falling down which works well granted you are young. Skin fades can be good for any age but fringes are better for the younger guys. Yeah go for it.
