Yeah pretty much. Here’s a tip for you if they hire you: try to do many different things, cooking, serving, cleaning etc. Then it will be much more bearable because it won’t be so monotonous. And then you will get more responsibilities easily because they notice you are not brain dead so you might want to do the cash counting, check the inventory etc. This is what I did and it was actually pretty nice. Even got paid a bit more than most others. And because you are versatile it will also be more easy for them to put you on the roster so if you want to make some extra money you can work more easier

No it will not make you move up in the world but it’s just to make it less boring. I am a data analyst so I’m doing fine but in hs I worked fast food and it was more bearable because I did many things instead of some people only flipping patties for 8hrs.
