Are graphic tees really that bad?

On fashion youtube channels I keep hearing that men should only wear plain neutral-coloured clothing with no text or images but irl I see slayers wearing goofy stuff like this

Imo it adds character and personality instead of just wearing muh plain white/ gray/ black tee like an insecure autist.
