its just alpha decay particles affecting you, no different from what causes cancer, but radon really only causes lung cancer realistically. won't descend you but if its really bad you might struggle athletically

yeah i was more worried about stuff like hair loss, thinning, etc

look into alpha decay and its impact on cells, but radon is generally only broken down in the lungs when it does release alpha particles, not as a mostly inert gas while just in the air
