Are humans meant to be semi polygamous?

Is a ltr even natural for humans? I read that oxytocin is inly released for 2-4 years and then you are bored in that ltr and seek other partners. Basically the goal is to spread your genes on a wide scale and not stick to one partner. Is this true or jew lie?

Historically =/ biologicaly. You can't compare the unnatural agricultural evolution and its consequences to humans being let to live in the wild and tribes. From what ive seen, in hunter gathering tribes, men are polygamous

Yes, in nature the alpha male copulates with dozens of females, in humans it is no different, there is that study that says that only 1 in 17 men spreaded their genes.
Today we are actually polygamous, men and women change partners several times.

Biologically more polygamous males usually have high sexual dimorphism, men don't really have that much sexual dimorphism over women so I guess maybe semi polygamy or leaned a little more towards monogamy especially in recent history.
