I'd only use lifts for events and shit, and I'd use them openly (I wouldn't deny I'm wearing them if asked). It's stupid to wear them everyday because it really fucks with your body image. I also like the look of flat sneakers so I usually wear those with a little insert inside to bump me up to the nearest inch. It's funny how a little 1cm insert bumps me up like 7 percentile points in height.

Body image?
Uh yes. A lot of people here think 5'9 is short and cry about it but I doubt they have serious body image issues about it. I'm 5'6, so height goes way beyond looksmaxing for me. It impacts every interaction I have.

The only way is to try it and find out. Personally at 6'2 I'd literally walk barefoot outside, it would be fun being taller than everyone while barefoot.

I am 6'0 and use 2 inch lifts to get 6'2. And then put 6'4 on my tinder profile. It makes a huge difference

For nightclubs maybe

For general use? Maybe for posture but it makes you walk funny and people will pick up on it. You will also be super conscious of people noticing and this may increase cortisol. They also make it painful to walk etc. And you overestimate how much of a lift you can get in a normal shoe. Even with timbs its super obvious. I saw this looksmaxxed Chad with them on with lifts and it was super obvious and he walked very weirdly.

For an inch or two in nightclubs it may be a good idea.

Its super hard to learn to walk naturally in them and even then it will never look natural. Yes it makes your proportions better by making legs longer but its not worth it. But try it out and see as everyone is different.

You wears lifts everyday?
Most days. I only don't wear them when going for exercise or I know I am going to be walking/standing a lot.

5’6”. Wear 1” lifts. I only wear shoes with a bit of heel. I tried 2” lifts, but that was awkward. Put 5’8” in Tinder bio and that’s been fine.

Yes they are worth it, if you don't want people to notice them, wear logger boots, they are stylish, comfortable and people won't notice that they have a 3 inch elevated heel. When I wear mine, I am 6 foot 7 and the tallest guy in the vast majority of places that I go to. As long as the women you are talking to don't have a similar height to you, they'll never notice you're wearing them, because even if you take them off, if the height difference is big, you'll still be taller than them.

Try 3 inch heel logger boots, lumberjacks wear them, they are comfortable and made out of leather, they're kind of the male alternative of high heels but people don't notice that there is an elevated heel in them. It feels weird at first but you get used to it.

Yeah but they are running shoes, so they don't work for everything, you shouldn't wear them casually since they aren't very stylish since they are made for sports. Logger boots look great with jeans, so if you wear jeans on most days, you can wear logger boots and they give you the cool Dean Winchester (guy in my avi) look. My favorite outfit is actually inspired by Dean Winchester from Supernatural, it's a casual shirt (with a t-shirt underneath if it's really cold outsdide), a Blue Gap Utility Coat, a pair of blue jeans (straight or slim) and a pair of 3 inch heel Leather logger boots. It's quite a cheap outfit and it looks good everyday and if you're skinny, the added layers make you look bigger and tougher.

Im still a teenager so 720 are the way

As a occasional lift wearer i say it’s worth it if you are below 5’10. I use an inch or a cm insoles most of the time i go out. I sometimes have spiking cortisol due to the chances of me being exposed but i have never been yet

Reactions: Xxxpazxxx
Yeah.I am more confident in them. But i will probably stop using insoles and buy shoes that have attached height increasing lifts like air max or elevator shoes.Insoles can fuck up your spine if you don't keep your head up and abs tight.

Yes. I wear 720 + insoles and it gives me ~5cm taking into account a compression.

It takes me out of pathetic 6'2 height and boosts me to 6'4 still not good enough but at least I get to taste chad-ish height for a while.

Stylish casual jackets will make you stand out from the average teenager who wears a t-shirt and you'll also hide your skinny spaghetti arms this way and having layers of clothes on your upper body will make you look bigger. Gap sells the best jackets for the lowest price because they sell many different colors and types of denim, so you'll be able to make a different outfit for each day. Think of how girls dress in high school vs guys, most guys don't put in any effort so it's not that difficult to stand out.

For good casual outfits for high school, you can get your inspiration from stylish actors in movies or tv shows, my inspiration has always been Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) in Supernatural. But you can copy actors that look good in movies that are in a high school setting.

So, for coats, I mainly recommend:

For most seasons: a Denim Jacket (around 100$), a Bomber Jacket (aka the varsity jacket) (around 100$), a Leather Jacket (if you can afford it) (around 500$), a Military type Jacket (or Utility Coat) (around 50$)

For winter: A wool pea coat (around 200$ or more)

For jeans, you only need 2 pairs, 1 pair of slim blue jeans, and 1 pair of slim black jeans.

For shoes, you can wear white sneakers (adidas or Nike) since they never go out of style or logger boots. Logger boots have a 3 inch elevated heel while sneakers don't. The problem with the 720 is that they are a temporary trend and they don't look as good as the white sneakers.

For when you'll need to look good for prom or such events or when you'll be old enough for bars and clubs, I recommend high quality double breasted suits, there is nothing better than a suit to look your best in those types of places, watch this:

Don’t wear lifts but do wear elevator shoes. Elevators are designed by professionals to give you more height and maximize comfort as possible. Adding that with elevators you can go up to a 4 inch increase in height. I personally wear 3 inch elevators to get to 6’2.

My syrian friend uses the same excuse to not put in any effort to dress well because he lives in a poor neighborhood and is afraid of looking gay. Unless you wear gay colors and super tight clothes, you won't look gay. Just dress better than most guys while still dressing in a masculine way and you'll stand out, I guarantee it.

You may also not think that it makes a difference but it does, women love men who dress better so it can make you stand out, and you don't have to be rich to dress well, if you prefer neutral colors (black or white) then wear those and limit yourself to those, but you'll definitely look way better dressing like the cool guy in high school than dressing like a bum with a t-shirt and baggy jeans.

Cool guys in high school often wear a denim or bomber/varsity jacket, you don't have to be on the football team to get a varsity jacket, you just need to find a cheap 100$ one at a cheap clothing store and it will make you look good. Good jackets add bulk to your frame, never forget that. Wearing baggy clothes makes you look skinny, weak, and poor.

At events where you need to be seen as powerful and capable (job interviews, nightclubs, salary negotiations, etc.) they are a must. I use 1 inch day to day but would definitely go up to 2 depending on what I'm doing.
