My great grandpa was Lithuanian/german and left Germany in the 1930s/1940s; my last name is polish/lithuanian, and I currently reside in America. My dad said his great grandpa changed our last name when coming into America though. Is it possible that I’m Jewish even though I got dirty blonde hair + blue eyes?

I’m upper middle class, my dad’s side of the family was pretty wealthy when they came into America tho. My last name now is very uncommon in America tho and my dad doesn’t know my original last name.

Not particularly but Jews were a numerous minority in Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth Also polish and lithuanian are a distinct languages, you can’t possibly have a surname that is similar in those 2 languages

Yes, that is historically accurate. Before World War II, Vilnius (often referred to as Vilna or Wilno) was one of the most significant centers of Jewish life, culture, and learning in Europe, earning it the nickname "The Jerusalem of the North".
