Unless you have a very specific reason to buy one, many cheaper laptops can do just as good if not better in > 90% of cases/needs.

So yeah, it is overpriced shit, like all Apple status symbol products. You can get much more out of more cheaper shit, but most buy for status, not performance/overall needs. Like many shills buy iPhone for 1000 bucks or more when 500+ dollar Android can compete/surpass in many cases.
