It feels like with looksmaxing becoming more and more mainstream there has been a shift in authority concerning facial aesthetics. I've seen more and more women call themselves ltb - htb etc and go to men (particularly men who are into looksmaxing) asking for advice like "how do I ascend". Just the jargon alone that is being used should be indicative of the fact that the male approach to maximizing your beauty is starting to overtake the female approach which has been the mode since god knows when.

Women are by their nature more careful and more, should we call it "intuitive", when it comes to improving their looks. They use weird expensive facemasks, scam fatburning devices, and minimal hardmaxing. Men don't fuck around, they are willing to forego health and safety and go straight to stuff that actually works like osteotomy, peptides, hormones, medications like oral minoxidil, etc. Stuff that actually ascends people. I'm curious to see how far women are willing to go to adopt these considerably more invasive measures.

no the looksmaxxing shit you see around you is only a small part of teenage guys. Most guys on the planet are still in the mentality that they don’t care about their looks, if you go to any non western country most men could care less what they look like

I feel like that's overly wishful thinking from your part. Obviously it would be to our benefit if the average guy didn't care about their looks.

yeah no shit i never said it’s not to our benefit, but you asked if men are leading beauty and i said no because most men on the planet still don’t care about looks whilst almost all women care about looks since a young age

I didn't ask that. The question I asked was "are men becoming the leading gender in beauty." Like where is this trend going with men taking a role in aesthetics, is it going to fizzle out or is this going to be the new normal?

And also who cares what the hell is going on in a little hut in the amazon? if they're not looksmaxing it doesn't matter, that's not your competition is it.
