Are men more likely to be recessed ?

For people my age (18-25) there’s more men who are mouth breathing and have the typical mouth breather face. Recessed mandible,chin, maxilla and etc. Way less women are mouth breathers, like not even exaggerating the ratio of recessed men/women must be 10 men for 1 woman. Is there an explanation for that ? Are men more likely to be allergic or something ?

if that is true, i would guess its due to masseter in men being stronger, this could cause the maxilla-mandible to rotate clockwise
