They are technically fused. If u see a dark line, that is the translucent growth plate. A white line is the scar of the growth plate calcifying and turning solid. Every single doctor will tell you they're fused, but if u look really close, u can see faint dark streaks so theoretically you could maybe (maybe) have a tiny chance.
