They are essentially fused. This guy has 3-9 months until they close and 1-4cm in height growth left. They arent 100% fused but he is basically done growing.

4cm is a lot, if he took letrozole he could extend that to well over a year of open plates. then blast hgh on top of that and id say he could have as much as 6-8cm

Statistically, he has a 90%+ chance of gaining around 1.5 cm before his growth plates fully close.Growing up to 4 cm at this stage of epiphyseal maturation is possible, but very unlikely.

He’s not “done,” but he’s 85–95% finished with his total growth.It’s very clear from the X‑ray that he’s in the final phase of height development.
