i was thoroughly convinced i was a genius at some point, despite everything pointing to the contrary. not even a suppressed memory of reading a court document where it was stated my IQ was 93 could shake my conviction that i was somehow smart

being a dunning kruger victim (and realizing it) is a weird position to be in. on one hand you know you're stupid as fuck, but this is underlined by questioning if other people are stupid when they exhibit blatantly stupid behavior -- after all, how could you be a judge if you're stupid?

i think it's more likely that most people are just in the 90-100 IQ range and they vastly overestimate themselves
