Are people who say "I miss the 80s" nostalgists copers?

Do people who love 50s-90s cope with it

Some people think it was better to get laid pre-internet lmao.
Some people think it was better to be in hippie circles etc. than to be on tinder now and go cross country to fuck ppl. nah idk about all that.

No point in reminiscing over a past you've never lived.

people who believe in hypergamy are ugly narcies who think they're chadlites and want to be able to live in a fantasy reality where they can be both good looking yet still unsuccessful with women. That or they're autistic and capped at getting a certain looks level of woman relative to their own, but they don't realize it's because they're autistic and that it's different for nt people of their same looks level.

As for general "man I miss X years," people have been saying that shit since the dawn of man
retards in 40 AD were probably going, "Man, I miss 10 AD.. shit was so much better back then.."
You're not missing any time period or any culture or anything like that, you're missing how you perceived the world which naturally changed as you gained new information and your brain developed more. At a base level everything is the same as it's ever been or ever will be. At the end of the day shit is gonna suck for uggos and be good for gl people, and that hasn't ever changed.

A lot of people on 4chan say that things got a lot less fun very suddenly around 2012, which is when the first iPhone was released. Makes sense.

I'm saying the "fun vibe" of every decade ended with Steve Jobs' handheld coom box in mass production.

But objectively it was better. Economy, girls werent as whorish, lower rate of inceldom, subcultures were ACTUALLY for people of that subculture and not just trendy. It mogs current times to suicide

People who want to live in the past are massive copers since its impossible in the first place. These are usually also people who suck at life and think going back to the 90s/80s/50s etc. will somehow fix this shitty issues.

People who focus on the future are entrepreneurs, gym bodies, slayers, millionaires/billionaires etc. people who understand that a successful life comes with putting work into the present moment. Not these larpers who want to go back in time lol

My dad was born in 58 and mum in 64 but I’ve never heard them express any outright nostalgia for a specific decade. Sometimes they’re just reminiscing of some stuff

I lived in the pre internet era. It was 100% better.

Imagine going to a concert and no one is on their phone
Imagine going to a party and no one is on their phone
Imagine trying to get fit and you're not comparing yourself to Instagram models
Imagine if women didn't have unlimited chads to choose from...
Imagine hanging out and playing sports for fun with your friends instead of being on the computer all day talking to your computer thinking you're socializing
Back then wrestling was "real"
Subcultures really meant something...
Back then you had to have talent to become a musician
Back then no one knew what a tranny was
Back then the left was anti establishment, and would fight for worker's rights.
. Everyone knew being fat was unhealthy and undesirables...
Back then porn was practically impossible to get, you had to be an adult and you had to go look like a creep to get it

This was considered shredded

Even video games were more fun. It was good stories and replayability. There was no woke shit shitting up everything

The first IPhone was released in 2007. Tinder was launched in 2012, though.

there was less obese american women back in the 80s

I stand corrected.
when the iphone was released, what was the first issue before tinder. lmao my mom started fucking guys and dating out after 2007.

so do you think the early 2000s felt like the 80s.

Well I think there was something digital that happened around 2012 that made all in-person events feel dull and underwhelming. People don't "get into" events like they used to. It's no longer about enjoying the moment, it's about taking pictures and trying to imagine how your life will look to other people once you post carefully-curated evidence of it. I think the advance of social media, cameraphones and online dating all contributed in their own ways.

So in a sense, yes. There was a pre-digithot age and a post-digithot age. We are living in the latter, and it kind of sucks.

Another thing is that people aren't creative anymore. The emo/scene subculture of the late 00's (maybe even early 10's for the last few people clinging to that scene) might have been the last original subculture. Every subculture now is an imitation of one of those older ones, and they're all mixed together and indistinguishable once you look past the appearance. Modern "goths" listen to rap music. Modern "emos" listen to rap music. Modern preppy kids listen to rap music. Modern punks...haven't met any in a while but I'm assuming they listen to mostly rap music as well. It's all tired and lame. The people who started these scenes would hate these kids.
