To basically settle this once and for all.

Depending on which device you use (preferably a camera that has minimal lens distortion),
a picture can be very accurate representation of your face.

the issue with pics is that it only captures one single moment and not an entire expression or any sort of movement. Which can make people look worse or better… usually worse.

So typically when taking a selfie you might encounter a problem called lens distortion. This probably also gets worse due to the fact that whatever sits closer to the camera will get distorted more. This is especially a problem with the selfie camera (So your already big nose will get even bigger JFL) but the further you get away the more minimal the distortion would be. That’s why they say take a picture from 2m away.

Most of you are also just asking if the mirror is an accurate representation of what you look like.

Assuming you have a mirror with no distortion in it, then yes it would be a perfect representation of yourself, if it wasn’t for your stupid brain. Your brain gets used to your face so it starts hiding flaws, so a lot of people tend to overestimate their looks. ( mostly normies since blackpillers are hyper aware of their failos )

The conclusion is that the mirror is technically more accurate in terms of how people see you.

Also note that most good looking people won’t look completely bad in pics. Some pics can still look bad tho due to lighting and other factors.

So if i don't notice my asymmetries in the mirror am do i look like im symmetrical for other people?

yes and no, in motion you wouldn’t notice anyone’s asymmetries unless they are really bad. Doesn’t change the fact that your brain hides your asymmetries so you will have a difficult time spotting them.
