Are the beginning weeks of hs/college the only chance to build a social circle?

I wish this wasn’t the case but it looks more and more like it is. I was the ultimate autist in my hs days because I was absorbed by the “muh blackpill” and I thought socialising was cope and now in senior year I’m as lonely as ever and I’ve been to 0 hs parties so far.

Can I ever recover or is the start of college the only hope I have left to socialise?

I’m not subhuman at all, above average height where I live and HTN but not really NT

Depends on what type of college you go into. If it has lot of different student associations, sport clubs, you live in a dorm etc. you can always meet new people. If you enroll into a smaller school then yes freshman years first weeks might be crucial to socialize , especially if you are a STEMcel
