I thought they always bind to the same receptor, but it was different. can I eat after taking growth hormone?

Reactions: new H150i
The insulin receptor is a tyrosine kinase receptor, which means it has built-in enzyme activity. It has two α-subunits and two β-subunits. When insulin binds, the receptor activates itself (autophosphorylation) and triggers pathways like PI3K-AKT and MAPK, which help with glucose uptake and metabolism.

The growth hormone receptor is a cytokine receptor, meaning it doesn’t have built-in enzyme activity. Instead, when GH binds, the receptor dimerizes (two parts come together), which activates JAK2 (Janus kinase 2). This leads to signaling through STAT, PI3K-AKT, and MAPK, which control growth, metabolism, and IGF-1 production.

Also for eating, what are you using it for? Fat loss or muscle growth?
