Finnish aren't Nordic in the first place. They are Finno-urgic. They are different from Nordics. Nordic means Iceland, Denmark, Sweden,Faroe Islands and Norway. These are the real Nordic countries.

They did which is why they are mostly European. Sami people also heavily intermarried Norwegians and Swedes but they lived in the isolated north and had a low population so they retained most of their culture. Modern Sami people are like half white.
