24 shouldn’t be too hard, and 48 may require some will power24-48h seems difficult
i don’t think these are considered long duration fasts, 24hour defo isn’t. start of a long fats is at 72 hours i think.such a long duration fast
there’s obviously fat loss, but i’m asking beyond this, hence the thread. there’s supposedly anti aging and stuff, gut healing etc. want to know myself tho.what are the benefits
ancestry never ate daily. they’d have to hunt and wouldn’t eat until they caught something, so i’m sure there’s some benefits for us also.compared to eating daily?
i’m starting to do omad now, 25% ground beef with 6 eggs, around 2k calories.I'd say as a general rule of thumb eat less often, lower calories, but higher nutrient density. There's no reason to extended fast for most people.

i am and about to use dnp. can i ask what you recommend i do, and how much it will increase my metabolism?Massive debloat. Better facial aesthetics overall. Sharper jawline.
Not to mention, you will burn 1 pound (0,5kg) of fat during a 48 hour fast.
As long as you don't do it too often, it wont do a thing to your muscle mass. You will retain 99,99% of your muscle mass if you occassionally do a 48h fast.
If it was easy, everyone would do it. The trick is conquering hunger. Most people get too hungry after 16-24 hours and quit.
the reasons for these supps i’m not sure but it’s what i’ve been recommended.the supps in gonna take are NAC, vit c, vit e, coq10, alpha lipoic acid and magnesium

i’m doing 200mg in the morning and 200mg at night.
i hear that your diet doesn’t matter in terms of macro nutrients, and that you’ll get the same results with a diet of no carbs or diet high in carbs or 33/33/33

i’m not sure how many calories i should be consuming while using dnp. i hear many people say they lose 1 lbs a day fat on dnp.
obviously i am going to remain hydrated.
while doing this do i need to be doing cardio/geting my steps in like 10k a day, or will i be able to lose 1lbs a day without doing any movement apart from going to the gym to maintain muscle mass.
i also hear that any activity you do is actually doubled on dnp for some reason, like 10k steps without dnp is the same as 20k steps with. i’m not sure if true.
i’m sure many aren’t willing to dnp either
yes but i think your forgetting the 36hour half life of dnp? since it accumulates and every 100mg is an 11% increase in metabolism.1 lb of fat daily is a blatant lie. That would mean dnp gives you a ~4000kcal extra burn daily.
It gives you an extra 500-700kcal a day (which is still massive compared to the 100-200 clenbuterol does) which is still a lot.
If you eat 2000kcal a day while using DNP, you will burn over a pound in a week, plus that's a really generous amount of food which will leave you with zero hunger if you eat smart and prepare filling foods.
Macros don't matter for weight loss, calories do, but I'd still go high protein while cutting to maintain as much muscle mass as possible. The goal, after all, is to lose body fat, not overall weight (which includes muscle mass).

so with 400mg you’d eventually reach peak concentration of 1080mg, which would mean 110% increase in metabolism roughly. this is my understanding of why 1lbs a day can be lost per day.
did a 72hr and 96hr waterfastis so what are they?
