I like it's default apps better than KDE and Gnome
it's built for performance and compatiblity rather than looks and ideology
and it's much older, battle tested. never gotten a glitch with it

if you really have skill issue use linux mint but id say try fedora

yeah the apps are good, I use thunar in hyprland
