There used to be great Casanovas in fiction like Jame Bond, John Shaft, etc. Now, the quintessential ladies man is becoming a rare sight and is almost never played straight. Sure, there's Harvey Specter and Don Draper. But they have massive mental and familial issues; and their womanizing is portrayed as a way to feed their insecurities.

Chad in real life is becoming more popular than Chad in power fantasies.
