Naaah, they're just rich kids pretending to be gangsters, at least in Eastern Europe many wannabe rappers are simply kids from rich families who simply bought themselves a career - their parents put the money and the music producers recorded and promoted them.
There was a guy who said he spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on this without making any profit, he did just for the status of being a star, his parents made the money from a garbage and sewage company - not exactly something to brag about...
