I agree with you.

He has robust bones but his features look too ethnic and low class. Wide bulbous nose and typical Asian eyes with high set orbitals and a high set brow ridge aren't very desirable, and they look weird on his face.

The girl has beautiful European features (slim noses, well developed orbitals, light skin, blue eyes, prominent cheekbones). She would be considered a goddess everywhere. And you can argue that her SMV is higher than any Asian female on planet, so she's definitely a Stacy.

The guy is above average for an Asian but I think he's dating up. Facially he's high average at best and his girlfriend is legitimately good looking.

ER looked less Asian than the guy in OP. The Asian guy in OP has very ethnic-looking nose and eyes, he doesn't look european at ALL. He reminds me of that Asian poster @Effortless.

Not attractive for East Asian girls in the East though. His jaw looks way too masculine and robust for them here. Ironically has more SMV in Western Europe than he would in Asia thanks to different tastes, different beauty standards.
