Are wigs good for switching up hairstyles?

I was thinking about buying this wig, does anyone have experience with it? Mainly because i have straight hair and cant grow it out like this. Or it wouldnt work? Give them the ick? Wigs dont work?

ye looks cheap, hair texture, color etc has to be consistent with ur real hair, the scalp would look obviously artificial etc, itd just be obvious
