Are women genuinely caring people?

So in my classroom a group of charity people came asking for money to raise for some disease awareness (I don’t even remember for what it was jfl). And EVERY girl in my class gave them some money, even one girl as high as 10 euros (currency in my country). But not even ONE boy gave anything. I was weirded out by this. I mean they all gave some money, and they didn’t have to since no one’s gonna remember this. So do women actually care about people? It’s weird, because all I’ve seen on this forum is that they only care about chads and just virtue signal

Group think, virtue signaling instinct, higher agreeableness, and some degree of having a stronger degree of automatic empathy due to being more easily swayed by their emotions is my guess.

When you see such big trends of behavior like that, it is less likely to be a result of a subjective trait such as “being more caring” and more likely the result of something triggering an innate and instinctual response.

for example many more women than men are nurses, but men make up the majority of medical patent holders. The high degree of female nurses may seem like women just care more about sick people but when it comes to creating actual solutions to solve the problems before they happen or make solving the problems easier (an act which will have more general benefit to sick people than simply taking care of them) that is the domain of men. I don’t mean to downplay the value of nurses by this but the fact more women are nurses is not necessarily indicative of a higher drive to help sick people.

I’m sure some of them genuinely cared or mired in all of the other reasons for the response was some a degree of actual empathy.

The same way, a man’s natural lower emotionality, more calculating logical nature, may lead to selfishness or perceived selfishness.
