Are you always supposed to have your jaw shut when you're mewing?

When i sleep my jaw comes open but my mouth stays shut and my tongue is still in the roof of my mouth. But people have said your jaw needs to be shut and teeth touching at all times for it to work.

I think it's inevitable, the muscles relax when you sleep, otherwise you just couldn't sleep, maybe buy a chin strap?

I'm pretty sure its cope. But since I'm 16 and still developing facially it might work. Better giving it a shot than not trying.

when i open my mouth it kinda tries to reset my jaw slowly so yeah pretty sure you are but not actually. a small distance away is ideal. basically natural resting position
