I am not sure what I am anymore.

I would love to follow theism, but I have been drifting away day by day.

I argued with a tranny for about an hour and a half today
I was pretending to be a christian to larp but their complete lack of knowledge of christian doctrine was honestly jarring at times
Claiming jesus was trans, claiming judging is a sin, claiming being trans is allowed
I did bait them hard and they did get extremely angry especially when i pretended to be a magatard but God
sometimes I caught myself getting irked at the retardation coming out of their mouth

I almost feel empathy for christians

I would switch from a convinced atheist to the biggest promoter of Jesus in a second if it were up to do this for her (that's kinda water at this point lol)

But theoretically, practically and philosophically speaking, if the whole planet were like her (or were born into Christian families like hers) we will definitely be as close as possible to heaven on earth at that point.. :veryCat:

The tranny seems to be a case of someone who takes everything they read on their twitter timeline as hard facts

They claimed Jesus was trans because they didn't have a father to give them the Y chromosome
I asked if adam was trans too since they didn't have parents to give them chromosomes. They said "well, yes actually. Thanks for making me realize that"
I asked "from what gender did they transition from"
They said "bigender" [wtf lol]
I asked them when the transition was, they said when he was split to make eve, and started arguing that Eve was not made from the rib of adam but was literally part of him, like Adam pre eve was an Adam/Eve fusion and that the rib was technically a newer translation

Bro imagine if I was actually christian listening to this

damn bro but I hope you can make that choice one day
I rly doubted gods existence but I am a theist but don’t rly believe that any divine being would care about us. At least people aren’t anything special

This is a lack of you making a choice. You haven't studied any theology, you probably don't really read your Bible, and you only go to church because you're told to by your parents.

It isn't some grand philosophical revelation that caused me to drift from faith, nor some private grievance or emotional collapse that pushed me away from it.

I think it was just difficult to remain deeply attached to Theism while existing in an environment so saturated with nihilism and spiritual emptiness. Human beings adapt to the conditions surrounding them more than they like admitting. I do not think belief exists untouched by the atmosphere one inhabits daily, even Monk's don't believe that.

It is an embarrassing position to find myself in as well, especially considering how invested I once was. I spent years (11-15) studying Ecclesiastical history, from the Early Church through Constantinople II and into the Reformation, and followed it with genuine devotion. But over time, something gradually loosened, it was distance more than anything else.

idk what to say brocel since you should know more than the normie Chrisitan.

There isn't really much I can do, brother. All I can really do is pray for you. I pray that you can find that joy in Christ again, maybe by picking up and reading the Bible again or committing to a local church again or serving God. But yeah, bro, I'm kind of devastated to hear that.

I would love that man, thank you.

Obviously once I go to Europe and leave the Middle East, I will start picking up on my Faith more.
Hopefully then the Situation will be better.

sola fide does not save
Well, you come from a traditional background, so you're going to disagree, but in other cases, I can just tell them to repent and believe in the gospel.

I'm glad, brother, that, you know, you still are a Christian and you still have faith. If you feel like you're drifting

a good piece of advice would just be to reconnect with some of your elders at church, if that is, I hope you are going to a local church and reading ur Bible, but I can't really do much for you apart from just praying for you, my brother.

I’ve changed my views a lot on the whole subject

I used to be hardcore atheist but day by day for some reason I become less I think

I’m still on the fence though with what I believe, I don’t really like a ton of stuff about standard Christianity

But I think a “god” exists

It’s either a god or we’re in a simulation

Well, I can tell from personal experience that it's definitely God and not a simulation. But if you're interested, I really hope that you check out a local church and ask them your questions or pick up the Bible and start with Mark. And the term you're looking for is agnostic.
