No. However, I believe in putting effort into your child.
If you aren’t willing to try and give them a genuinely good life and are just going to carelessly cast them into the void, I don’t see the point.

Antinatalists are the perfect people to not reproduce because the parent should provide optimism as part of parenting. I was lost once and didnt care about anything or anyone because I had come to the conclusion that there is no point in anything. I had no guidance. With guidance through parenting, my kid would not feel this way. Life doesnt have to be miserable. Not to sound like a stoic, but it all comes from your perception. Its what you make it to be.
