red herring. Has nothing to do with whether god is real or not. But I’ll play into it. First I want to clarify, Is it a bad thing I’m a slave to my desires? And if I’m a slave to my desires then can you even blame me? God gave me those desires, I didn’t choose them on my own. And they were also heavily shaped by my environment which again I have 0 control of.
