Are you meant to mew with your back teeth touching or not?

I realised I've been mewing for 3 months (used to think it was pure cope before, It is at my age I'm just doing it for the health benefits) without knowing if I should be closing my jaw and having my back teeth together or not. Can someone clear this up because there's differing opinions on this it seems.

Yes, all teeth should be touching. This only really applies if your teeth are aligned though.
