The perceived wetness of water is quantified by the angle of contact between a substrate and a spheroidal water drop in contact with it. A zero angle, which means that water spreads without inhibition, would describe the water as wet for a specific substrate and generally defined as a contact angle =< 90 degrees. Significantly above 90 degrees contact angle the water is increasingly repelled by a substrate which defines a non-wetting state of water.

The contact angle is determined by the surface tension of water which in turn is affected by impurities and especially detergents. Interfacial tension between the water and the substrate also plays a role in wettability.

I'm NT but socially anxious as a result of being ugly in my youth.

I listen to mainstream music, use pop-culture slang, know topics to talk about and inside jokes, wear NT clothes, etc. Most people here are likely neurotypical in that sense but are socially scarred as a result of their looks.
