How do you avoid infections? I’m on a carnivore diet and I once ate a poorly cooked chicken breast and got a bacterial infection from it which gave me diarrhea for 3 daysI am, got rid of all my acne. Don't get sunburnt. Digestion improved significantly. Nails look healthy, hair looks healthy. Can maintain muscle without working out often. Testosterone and sex drive is through the roof. I'd say it'll improve one's looks to eat a diet of raw meat, raw eggs, raw milk, raw cheese, raw butter, raw bone marrow, etc. I eat raw tuna and yellowtail somewhat often too. It has a different balance of nutrients and minerals.
The vitamins found in animal foods, especially raw animal foods are more bioavailable. Part of being able to get a good tan and absorb vitamin D is consuming a lot of cholesterol in your diet, getting magnesium, calcium, vitamin K2.
I would read Aajonus Vonderplanitz or Nourishing Traditions, as far as I know you should be fine eating meat raw if the animal was raised on their natural diet. I've only had an issue once from raw oysters but ended up being fine in a week. Had diarrhea. Other than that been eating raw everyday for 2 years and never any problems. I even eat grass fed ground beef raw.How do you avoid infections?
