It's pretty evident to me that we are going to experience a great economic collapse within the next 30 years.
Many, many people will die. Western world is going to get demographically annihilated.
Question is whether it is even worth preparing for this, whether you even can prepare for this, then to what degree.
I think it's absolutely crucial to over-react during the start of an economic collapse to secure vital resources. The first 12-24 hours, people will underestimate the scale of the event which is a crucial time to take advantage of the situation and hoard water, food, energy resources and more.
And I think a great emphasis should be placed on reacting properly during this first time of turbulence, especially if you live in a densely populated area.
Probably owning (several) weapons is also key during this time.
