No, they're just ugly and nerdy.
One is also fat and slow, the other(his brother) has an eye asymmetry(one is higher than the other, he's also cross-eyed). Another one has a speech impediment, this also made him quiet, reserved and shy. And another had some severe acne, but also a pretty tedious personality, like no girl was good enough for him, he just preferes to stay at home and play video games instead.
There's another guy I know who kinda made it, he worked hard, has a nice career and he married at 30, but he's getting no sex, says his wife is asexual or something, so he's back to banging prostitutes.
