My dad is redpilled since he’s from the third world and that kind of macho enegery is needed to survive there. My mom is from the first world so she’s for the most part bluepilled but she’s still lookist and I catch her judging people for their apperance all the time despite saying it doesn’t matter in dating.

These days she doesn't pretend that I could ever be normal anymore, her gaslighting is a bit more involved:

Not her exact words but holy shit did it hit me.
I'm not even that old but I'm already being written off by this wreck of a person.

In her eyes I'm not worthy of the most miniscule bits of low-energy verbal cheerleading and I don't deserve truth–all those years that she has spent lying to me are culminating in this absurd statement that is somehow both incredibly detached from reality and deeply sobering at the same time.

If someone as deluded as her can't keep up sheepishly saying something about not letting my head down then it's truly over.
The only person in my life that I have any tangible connection to sees me as a total dead end and she can't even bring herself up to calling me that directly.
