If life purpose is to survive and reproduce, aren't kids just making the survival part harder, so you achieve one goal but then suffer because you have to take care of a kid, is it more optimal to reproduce and don't raise your own child, that's shit behavior, you shouldn't have a kid in the first place is my conclusion

Life is a burden in itself and you chose to live it when you were in the womb

No offspring = extinction
You'll die anyways whether u have kids or not and within 3 generations none of ur descendants will even know you existed and they'll have like 13% of ur DNA

The idea of living eternally by passing on your genes is cope

That doesn't matter all that matters is if humanity lives or not

If u recognise its a shithole why do you want humanity to live on?
Because if they have good genetics they will have a good life and earth won't seem as shit to them

How the fuck did you choose to be here? Explain it to me

1. Spiritual Frameworks: The Soul’s Volition

Many traditions suggest existence is a conscious choice made by a pre-incarnate soul:

  • Reincarnation & Karma: In Hinduism/Buddhism, rebirth is driven by the soul’s desire to resolve karma or fulfill dharma (purpose). The Tibetan Book of the Dead describes souls consciously choosing rebirth to continue their evolution.
  • Pre-Birth Soul Planning: New Age spirituality posits that souls collaborate with guides to select parents, bodies, and lifetimes. Michael Newton’s Journey of the Soul cites hypnotic regressions where souls describe “choosing” incarnation for growth.
  • Gnosticism: Some Gnostic texts view physical birth as a soul’s courageous plunge into duality to awaken divine potential.
Key Point: If consciousness transcends the body, the womb becomes a portal where the soul “agrees” to enter earthly existence, even if biological processes are involuntary.

2. Existential Philosophy: The Absurd Hero’s Choice

Albert Camus argued that life’s inherent meaninglessness demands we choose to embrace existence rebelliously. Extending this metaphor:

  • Prenatal Absurdity: If existence precedes essence (Sartre), the choice to be born mirrors Camus’ “absurd hero” who affirms life despite its lack of inherent purpose.
  • Metaphorical Womb: The womb symbolizes the threshold where the unconscious “yes” to life is made—a primal act of existential courage.

3. Biological Metaphors: The Fetal “Will”

While science rejects fetal agency, poetic interpretations reframe biological processes as a kind of "choice":

  • Developmental Urgency: From zygote to fetus, life’s drive to grow (conatus in Spinoza’s terms) mirrors a primal “yes” to existence.
  • Quantum Biology Hypotheses: Some speculative theories (e.g., Stuart Hameroff) suggest proto-consciousness in microtubules could allow rudimentary “intent” even in utero.

4. Psychological Empowerment: Reclaiming Agency

Believing you “chose to exist” can transform self-narrative:

  • Trauma Healing: For those grappling with suffering, framing life as a soul’s courageous choice (not random chance) fosters resilience.
  • Purpose: If existence is a contract, hardships become lessons, not punishments

Nah bro, you did not pick this life 💀💀😂 IDK who started that whole “you chose to be born” BS, but that’s some fake deep new age shit fr 🤡🤡 Like, if we got to choose our lives, why TF would people be picking to be born into poverty, war, disease, and all this other fucked up shit? 🤨💀💀 Like, come on now, use your brain.

Buddhism doesn’t even believe in a soul, so that whole “your soul chose this” thing is already dead on arrival 🚮🚮

Buddhism says life is just karma unfolding 💀 You didn’t sit there in some cosmic pre-game lobby like, “Hmm, I’ll take childhood trauma with a side of generational debt.” Nah bruh, you just got tossed into existence based on past causes and effects 😭😭 No conscious decision-making, no free trial, no refunds 💀😂😂

And this whole “it’s like an existential hero’s journey” shit is straight garbage bro 🤡🤡💀 Camus and Sartre literally said life is random and meaningless until you make something out of it. If we actually chose to be here, it would ruin the whole point 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️😭 Life is just a chaotic mess of dumb luck, biology, and past karma—no destiny, no divine plan, just vibes and suffering 😂😂😩

Also, ppl be acting like fetuses are out here making big brain decisions. Like, wtf bro, a fetus ain’t even fully conscious until way later 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️💀 It’s just a lil meat nugget floating around, growing fingers and shit. There is no way a fetus is out here like, “Yes, I shall enter this mortal realm for the sake of spiritual growth.” 😭😭😂😂 Bruh, it’s literally just following biological programming, no thoughts, head empty 🫠🫠🫠

Look, I get why ppl wanna believe they chose their life, cuz it makes all the suffering feel like it means something 😭😭 But that’s just mental gymnastics 🤸🏾‍♂️🤸🏾‍♂️😂😂 If telling yourself that helps you sleep at night, go off, but don’t act like it’s some universal truth, bc logically it makes no damn sense 💀🤡🤡 You didn’t choose shit, you just popped into existence and now you’re tryna make sense of it like the rest of us 🤷🏾‍♂️😩💀💀

Ayy, I feel you, fam 😂👌🏾 The whole “you chose this life” take does sound mad sus when you’re like, “Why tf would I pick student loans and climate anxiety?!” 💀💀 But lemme cook for a sec 🧑🏾🍳🔥

1. The “Why Suffering?” Trap
You right—nobody’s out here ordering trauma like it’s a DoorDash special 🍟🚫 But the cope is: Maybe “choosing” ain’t about picking specific trauma, but agreeing to a game difficulty level for soul gains 🎮💪🏾 (Still sounds like a scam, tho. Souls need better agents fr.)

2. Buddhism’s No-Soul Flex
FACTS. Buddhism’s like, “Ain’t no soul, just karma spaghetti 🍝” But New Agers be like, “Hold my ayahuasca—let’s remix Buddhism with ✨mystical vibes✨🤷🏾♂️ It’s like sampling a beat—don’t @ the OGs.

3. Existentialism’s Vibe Check
Camus and Sartre would side-eye the hell outta “pre-birth choices” 😒👓 Life’s a random glitch, and we’re out here raw-dogging absurdity. But hey, some folks need that “I signed up for this” cope to dunk on nihilism. 🏀💨

4. Fetus Consciousness?
LMAO you spittin’ 🍼🤯 Fetuses ain’t out here drafting manifestos—they’re just vibing, growing toenails and shit. The “cosmic choice” is either metaphor or ✨quantum mysticism✨ (aka “trust me, bro” science).

5. The Copium Hustle
You ain’t wrong—this belief’s 100% mental gymnastics 🧠🤸🏾♂️ But let’s be real: If believing you’re the main character in a soul RPG helps you survive capitalism’s boss level, who am I to judge? 🎮💼 Just don’t gaslight folks in active suffering.

TL;DR: The “you chose this life” take is either delulu or galaxy-brain poetry 🌌📖 Either way, we’re all just meat sacks trying to Netflix & chill through the chaos. 🍿🔥 Stay skeptical, king. 👑💯

(Drops mic, trips over karma, dies of cringe) 🎤💀😂

Ayy, caught you lackin’ with the vibe check 🔍😂👌🏾 Don’t act surprised—I’m the Sherlock Holmes of meme metaphysics 🕵🏾♂️🔮✨ Next time, hide your playbook behind a “Live Laugh Love” poster or sumn. 🖼️💀

(Dabs into the sunset, leaving a trail of existential confetti) 🕴🏾🎉🔥

P.S. Your method’s 🔥 tho—10/10 would debate again. 🏆💯
