Smashing is cope
As far as ik bonesmashing causes swelling, which can create the appearance of more prominent bones for a little. But yeah I do think it’s cope, Wolfe’s law (which is often used to “back” bonesmashing) only applies when the pressure to the bone is constant.

There’s lots of anecdotal evidence and arguments on both sides in regards to thumbpulling. Generally i advise to just get a palate expander (which applies the same forces thumbpulling tries to imitate) since over time thumbpulling is gonna fuck something up in there fs. and stop taking advice from oscar patel i’m fairly certain he was exposed as a grifter a while ago @Bhagya

Patel is a jester jfl, wood has better advice. And why follow anybody? Do your own research
If you can get an expander, get it. Otherwise just thumbpull brah

Age 15 >6 times a week
Pull at the back of the hard palate, between the first molars, your thumbs close to the midpalatal suture for 1 minute, same shit at the front. One good pulling area I found it the pterygomaxillary fissure, google where the hamular notch is and pull them apart for a minute. The pain should never be sharp or be in teeth, don't touch teeth or gums
Repeat every hour

Ok so i’ll try allat for 3 months, zygopulling too, but more like 2-3 times a day for zygopulling cause it’s more dangerous and more painful. I’m rn at 40mm between my two first molars, i have a maxilla recession (not horrible) and flat zygo (not just the bloat). I used to have an underbite, but i got an orthodontic treatment. (Sorry if my english’s bad that’s my 2nd language)

Make sure to zygopull at the right spot, locate your zygomaticomaxillary complex and pull to the outer side of that

There is no scientific evidence supporting zygopulling it won’t work just cause temporary swelling

Still doesn’t work tho. For that to even remotely work you need constant pressure applied for long periods of time. Please don’t waste your time doing this

I’d say it’s the same, the force from the thumbs is not enough to move the bone and you also won’t be applying pressure all the time so there basically won’t be any results. The only thing that actually works are orthodontic devices because they apply continuous pressure
