Are oscar patel's methods are cope like thumbpulling etc. and for the forward growth of maxilla, is there only mewing that can I do, I'm 16.

Yo my IMW is 36-38mm (i measured from different parts of the tooth). but I wear clear retainers at night because I had braces which I got off around 3 years ago. Did you get a bad gap in your front teeth? I feel like the gap is more of a looksmin then the expansion and ntm i really dont want braces again. Im doing research on thumpulling before starting it because my maxilla is by far my biggest failo. Thanks bro

Like for example if i stopped wearing my retainer and wasnt even thumbpulling or doing anything new, my teeth would shift back to how they were before I got braces no?

havent gone since 2024 like 6 months after i got my braces off. i still go to the dentist ~2x a year but thats it

A permanent wired one behind your top 4 teeth isn't as much of an issue as one that you wear at night and covers all teeth. What do you mean by "permanent nightly one"?

Its the clear ones that look like Invisalign, it’s probably counterintuitive to palate expansion so I’ve stopped wearing it and focused on 24/7 tongue posture

Yeah that makes the most sense. The thing is make sure you either wear it every night or go completely cold turkey. Wearing it every once in a while will fuck up your teeth.
