He was dealing with the downward movement of bodies in the medium of air

He wasn't dealing with their terminal speed or time taken to reach the ground in a vacuum or short distances where air resistance is negligible

If you drop a ball & a feather from a plane, the ball will reach the ground earlier

Aristotle was made to look stupid in your school textbooks because it's old Galileo propaganda from the scientific establishment
