What age does development of the skull normally end? And what ages is it typically the most prominent?

Skull development typically completes during childhood and adolescence, with the majority of skull growth occurring in the first few years of life. By around age 8 to 10, the sutures (the fibrous joints between the bones of the skull) begin to fuse together in a process called cranial suture closure. This fusion continues throughout adolescence and into early adulthood, with most sutures fully closed by the age of 25.
However, it's important to note that skull growth and development can vary slightly from person to person, and individual differences in growth patterns may occur. Additionally, while the majority of skull development is completed by early adulthood, some subtle changes in skull shape can continue throughout life due to factors such as aging, hormonal changes, and external influences.
