The human brain has a great deal of potential that remains untapped because of parasitic ideals like "empathy," but even those are absent as long as certain cerebral regions remain inactive.

Psychopathy is mostly known as a hereditary trait, but it can also be acquired by growing up around environmental factors. Can it also be induced artificially? In the case it can, what are the political and ethic implications for introducing this kind of mechanism into society? Can it ever become a service -you pay a sum of money or its equivalent in exchange for a clinical alteration of one's psyche? Furthermore, under which system is this service the most likely to be allowed -liberalism, a kind of authoritarianism, etc...?
