ascending after a shave and a haircut

so a couple days back i made a post of how i was lowk letting go and was genuinely near the sub5 border and now after getting my shit incomplete facial hair shaved off and my hair maintained slightly I ascended back to where I was, anyone else has that? suddenly I'm all confident, I'll make sure to improve this base
