The things i am saying here may be water to some, but it is always good to have a reminder
There are many people on this forum and in general who believe in the concept of "ascension". It is viewed as a moment or event wherein a person is finally "above" his previous life, in a positive manner. For some, that moment is sex; for others, it is a long term relationship. For others still, it is achieving a certain looks level, where sex/relationships become easy, and so on.
The truth is, all of these things are simply momentary phenomenon that will not actually change the quality of your life in the long term. None of them will save you from your perception of a shitty life you currently have. Take a relationship for example. Incels and bluepilled normies alike tend to think that an LTR is a long term goal, and that after that their life will be a disneyland movie full of rainbows and flowers. The brutal reality is, an LTR is simply the beginning of the mountain of hypergamy. You have to be extra careful, work extra hard to make sure that your girl doesn't leave you for a richer, more attractive dude.
It is the same with sex. Is a 30yo who had sex once in his life really better than a 30yo KHV? Many incels would argue yes, this person has "ascended". I would disagree. Yes, sex itself is great - and it is acheiveable via prostitutes. However, most would agree that sex via prostitution is vastly different from sex between two consenting parties with genuine attraction to each other. Therefore, the act of sex itself is meaningless outside of temporary pleasure - it is the ability to attract and keep partners that matters.
Stemming from this, to maintain a constantly ability of attracting new partners, as well as mainting attraction of current partners requires an insurmountable amount of effort on the behalf of the male. There will ALWAYS be someone taller, richer, and more attractive than you. With social media and online dating, these options are constantly exposed to women. People think once they "ascend" they can leave the BP behind and lead bluepilled lives. This is delusional, as the BP always comes to collect. Regardless of your current position, regardless of whether you are happy or sad with life, you need to push yourself to improve further. Whether it is looksmaxxing, moneymaxxing, whatever, you NEED to be in a better position than yesterday. The moment you stop, you will get mogged.
The unfortunate blackpill here is accepting that no matter how much effort you put in and improve, you will eventually get mogged anyways. Some choose to cope by not ever trying in this first place, and honestly that's valid. Its a lot of effort and time-consuming for minimal results (some used up pussy and maybe some emotional validation? All short term). Just understand however that once you begin self improving, there really isn't any stopping, or you simply go back to where you began.
