What factors make it impossible to ascend? What factors keep a man in inceldom regardless of the self improvement applied?

Also height will lower your SMV but theres exceptions they are not rare nor the opposite.

Well not really it's just the most common one. It depends on what you think ascending is. For example anyone can go to Southeast Asia and get laid if they can't in the west.
A rich man can get play if he is wealthy jo matter height. Look at Tom Cruise who is 5'7 and Tom Holland who is not above 5/10 and 5'5-5'6

5.3 is hard. 5.5 is ok but thats it 5.8 is ok but a bit better 6 or higher is pretty cool but always remember that it depends on lots of shit and instead of crying you should improve yourself generally, after that, specifically your halos.
