All of the viral videos I'm seeing on TikTok/YouTube are teens and young men going through puberty and doing a before and after claiming that they did these niche and obscure methods to achieve their new look. I'm not just talking about 16 year olds btw, I'm talking about dudes who are 18-20. You don't stop growing until around 21 and you technically still change throughout the course of your life.
The majority of it is camera angles, weight loss and an increase in muscle mass. It's all softmaxxing + general puberty disguised as hardmaxxing. Then they go on to make slop content pandering to uninformed and insecure guys telling them to buy their slop products.
Of course, losing weight and gaining muscle, amongst other softmaxxing things are necessary, it just aggravates me seeing a 16 year old going through puberty and then proceeding to pretend to know about looksmaxxing and selling shitty products.
