Ashwagandha side effects?

I've stopped drinking alcohol a few months ago(except for very special occasions) and I also started taking ashwagandha like a week or two ago. Well yesterday me and my day ones went on our annual trip to one of the guys house(big af) and we started drinking but after starting to get a little drunk, it's almost like I couldn't talk anymore like not in a paralyzed kinda way but in a don't wanna talk kinda way. I've always been pretty socially anxious but in the past when I drank I felt very sociable so I think it actually might be the ashwagandha or maybe other supps I'm taking. Any ideas?

No ashwagandha is merely a child's suppliment and would bring no side effect. It's still a good suppliment tho

I only take it for relaxation. Do you have any ideas on what might be causing my issue tho?

I find when I take it and miss a day or two I genuinely lose it and become so mentally unstable, prolly bc I was taking it for 4 months straight. Unless you take a very high dose it shouldn't "paralyze" you.

Idk I take 2 gummies before bed and I normally feel fine ig it was the combination with being drunk and other factors
