Honestly almost all media that I enjoy and consider very well-written comes from asia.

Movies, novels, manga, etc. they fucking dominate at that.

I lowk think good comics are better than mangas tho on avergae manga is better and in terms of modern literature I'd say whites still have the edge and pre-modern literature is enuff said like not a single asian comes close to shakespheare or hp lovecraft

but yeh i agree with movies, anime and mangas, they do best

I haven‘t read as much manga as I‘ve read comics tbh but yeah you actually got a good point. Also a lot of asian media uses western or other concepts/philosophies, they’re just really good at doing it different.
