Recently I was thinking about how I struggled with naming even a single prominent Asian-American figure that wasn't just an annoying libtard with a painfully mediocre career (Awkwafina, George Takei). My first thought was unironically "uhh, maybe Asa Akira?"
Apparently I'm not alone:
Minorities are supposed to be this thorn that you want to get rid off, not something that you don't even think about!
Asians are so lame that they can't even produce ONE special person who's loud and obnoxious in a captivating way--this is simply not how you are supposed to live your life.
If you can't invoke feeling, if you can't even be seen, then what the fuck are you even doing here?
What a waste.

This is sad.Three out of 10 Americans cannot recall a significant Asian American historical event or policy.
Respondents still cite Jackie Chan (who is not American) and the late Bruce Lee as the most prominent Asian Americans.
