My face/skin is sometimes lighter than western european.

yeah most east asia have pale skin

but depending on the conversation

you'll see white brah refer to SEA as "jungle asian" due to tan skin so they are in a sense indirectly confirming that east asia have pale skin

but when it comes to topic of light skin they will say east asia are trying to bleach their skin
