Rural is a lot better. There are lots of Americans, Brits, and Scandinavians in major Polish cities, visiting, so being a westerner isn’t a big deal.
In smaller cities it carries a lot more weight, especially with approaching.

I just read a couple books while I was ssrimaxxed. A walk down wallstreet and the intelligent investor are good books. You can also browse finance forums and mainstream Reddit finance subreddits.
Most of the advice is going to be to invest in ETFs like voo. It’s a fool proof method that will guarantee you 10% gains each year on average.

I only speak english. I tried to learn spanish on duolingo, but quit after a year. A polish girl I was dating tried to teach me polish, but it was too hard and I quit.
Poland and Czech republic have a lot of young fluent speakers, but older people usually only sleak Polish. Slavic countries have the worst English speakers by far in Europe in my experience.
I already kinda did. There are a lot of strip club scams in big cities in Poland. Me and a friend went to one when we were drunk (promoters could tell we were foreigners and practically pulled us in). I didn’t remember anything else and the next day I woke up in my hotel room with my wallet missing. It turned out me and a friend most likely got drugged when offered free shots. At one point when I paid they tried to add a couple zeros without me knowing, but I noticed and crashed out immediately. They tried to force me to pay, and my friend heard and jumped in. 7 Polish guys started beating us up and pepper sprayed us from behind. A polish guys started beating we were with told us what happened the next day.
It’s overall a safe country, but the strip club scams there are ran by the Ukranian mafia. There are plenty of cases where westerners were drugged and robbed at these places.
